This was the first moped i had, and aquired it from my dad at the age of 12 as a project. I rebuilt the engine with my dad, and it never went wrong after that! for £150 i had my first moped. I learnt to ride on it, and it was very easy, very responsive on the throttle, but not too snappy (which was good) very smooth transition throughout the rev range, and corners very well, as the handlebars and seat both sit quite low in comparison to other mopeds. I brought a Suzui AP50 back in january 2002, it was second hand, and cost me £650, since then i havent looked back, it has been the best £650 i have ever spent, when i first saw it i thought 'Cheap, and crappy' but since then i have changed my mind, not only is it comfortable, nippy, and great through traffic, its also faster than both the Katana and the Zillion, i know this because i have overtaken at least 3 of each! The scooter has a 5.2 litre tank, which takes about £3.60 to fill up from empty, and has a 1.8 litre oil tank, as it is a 2-stroke, you have to fill this up generally every 100 miles, but it doesnt cos much.
