Good, reliable but boring. (Suzuki GSX750F)

Disadvantages: Boring.

I had one of these for about three years. I put 56,000 miles on it during that time and found it to be a very competent bike. The only major problem I had was with the ignition in wet weather. Nothing solved that. Heavy rain would cause it to misfire more and more until eventually I had to stop and call the RAC. I tried everything to solve that, but never managed it.

I only crashed once and the damage was limited to cosmetic stuff only. The large plastic faring helped that.

The performance was good, up to about 90, but after that it was little gutless. That’s why I changed it for a ZZR-1100.

I sold it to a friend who has taken it to 80,000 miles and he has just sold it on again. And still it goes!
