Advantages: Quick & precise steering, sit above traffic, large fuel tank, power to spare for any road.

Disadvantages: A bit tall for the shorter person, somewhat leaning forward position for ridding.

The Tiger 2006, 955i fuel injected, is just about the most complete motorcycle for almost any road. Takes on the bumps and turns well with no effort, ok for some off road but a bit heavy for loose ground. The power band is surprisingly wide for a 955cc, it will accelerate from 2,500 rpms in 6th gear to red line without hesitation. I have owned a few bikes and also a few Triumphs and, frankly, after doing some research and having rode a few new bikes, I found this 2006 Tiger to be the best suited bike for an all around bike, and for the price is a keeper. The Tiger will not let you down, unless you put it down and that could be easy if you are trying to tipy toe backwards this big bike. The Tiger feels very refined and soft to ride with supreme gear shifting ease.

The warranty from Triumph is solid so that helps in the buying process. The ergonomics of the bike are well suited for almost any person. She does sit tall and commands respect specially if you are not a tall person. You like to be the talk when you arrive at a hang out, I recomend the Tiger. The Tiger has had a history and will continue to be sold world wide with full force and acceptance. The Tiger is a winner and will be one that I won't sell to make room in my garage for another bike any time soon. The Tiger is built like a tank with many years of refinements to its 2006 model. It is a tradition, at Triumph, for putting out fine motorcycles. The Tiger behaves extreemly well in the local streets or a country road, it won't beat the superbikes but in the twisties it will give them a good run. This bike should give you many years of enjoyment with very few modifications to personalize this fine jewel.

Summary: A smooth ridding motorcycle that will take you there & back in comfort and with plenty of power.
