I have started biking about 1.5 years ago and bought a yamaha Dragstar 650. And I love my bike. Its fast enough on a long tour ( went to Holland last June), has not let me down once, has big bike looks and plenty of chrome and is cheap to run as well. Really, what more do you want? When driving to town its an eye turner and there are still plenty of accessories to get. Also there are Owners clubs around in which you can enjoy the bike with other likely minded bikers. All great fun. Definately the best buy I have ever made. Very very recommendable as a starter bike for men and women alike.
