Mazda 5 2.0 Sport:
... review is for the original 2005 - 2008 model Mazda 5. Mazda released an uprated version in 2008 and, whilst I suspect the basic car is the same, there are several enhancements not on the original version. Judging by the amount of people carriers seen on the road these days, the Mazda 5 is one of the most overlooked vehicles in its class. This is perhaps down to it s size, fairly small compared to others but I... Read the full review: This reviews the original 05-08 model Mazda5 Sport 2.0 petrol. by foz101 |

Mazda RX8 ... around 2003, though most of these were imports until 2004. The RX8 comes in 2 variants, the 190bhp version and the 230bhp version. The latter really is the one to go for, as it offers a 6 speed gearbox and a rev range up to 9000rpm! The RX8 is based around the tried and tested Wankel rotary engine, known in this car as the Renesis engine. If you want a full explanation you should check the Mazda site, however it basically works around a piston-less design, where the engine has 2 triangular rotors which use the 4-stroke combustion. There were originally some worries about the reliability of the rotor tips, however Mazda have reinforced these since the old RX7, and ... Mazda RX8 ... by David Haselhoff that had a built in computer which could talk to the driver. The car I took for a test drive was also jet black just like the car in the TV series. Me and a girlfriend once took this baby out for a 1 hour test drive in 2005 when it first came out although the price tag was a bit too much even on our combined salaries and trading in our existing cars. I already owned a Mazda 323 at the time. The Mazda RX8 is a successor to the RX7 and boasts a rotary engine but I won t go into technical details about it for this review as I know very little about these new engines. The car was very nice to drive, it had powerful accelaration and the feel of a... Read the full review: Knight Rider by alicia150 |

Mazda 323 1.8i 16v Sport ... Very good. Handled well on the road, quiet to drive. Fuel consumption Was ok but dare to think what it must cost now with rising petrol prices! Speed With injector engines, it can be very nippy at times. Overtaking on the motorways was fine, it handled this fairly well. Top speed I dare to say is fast enough; it cruises along just fine at 70mph on the motorway but can go faster if necessary (this car managed to achieve 6 penalty points for me!). Reliability First class but you must get it serviced regularly. I just got the standard services done but tbh I should ve really replaced the radiator quite some time ago. *No issues with the parts, only fi...
