Advantages: Easy to watch, comedy genius.

Disadvantages: None of note.

This original genre type 'teen' movie orignates from the classic works of Shakepeare is which an interpretation of the play 'Taming of the Shrew' is modernised for the pleasure of the 21st century. With numerous twists and turns along the way.

In relation to Shakepeare i recommend that at least some background knowledge is needed to enjoy the full potential of this great film. This being as there are so many different terms and hidden meanings that may not be picked up on without this; for example the 'australian bad boy' of the movie Patrick Verona. Ever thought about his last name? However, this great movie can still be enjoyed from many different perspectives and angles.

The fact that its a 'teen' movie can help teenage audiences relate to characters such as Kat Stratford in which a very possitive character is portrayed and many young girls can examine her attitude to life further and take part of her on with their own persona.

On a whole this movie is an absolute delight to watch. There is some real comedy genius involved in the making aswell as intelligent directing. Definatley has been my topic of discussion with friends a few times. With the witty quotes that can be incorparated in many different situations.

Possitively one of the best teen movies in creation!
