Im a real typical girly girl and love my chick flicks just like most other girls. I saw this film years ago and have watched it about fifteen times at least.

I have to say that i completely love it and its got to be one of my favourite films ive ever seen.

If you have never seen 10 things i hate about you, it is an American rom com that hit our screens in 1999. It has a brilliant cast including the late Heath Ledger, Julia Stiles, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Larisa Oleynik. It is 97 minutes long and directed by Gil Junger.

The story centres around new student Cameron who is given a school tour by geek Michael. He spots the popular Bianca and falls head over heels in love with her at first sight.

Cameron starts tutoring her in French when she seeks one and soon realises that he can only date Bianca if her sister Kat starts dating too.

The girls father is strict and used to seeing teenage pregnancies in his job so is very over protective of his girls. He set up the dating rule as he assumes Kat (who is a bit of an outsider) will never date. Will Cameron get his girl and will Kat start dating?

I wont tell you any more of the plot so i dont ruin it for you but i fully recommend seeing this film as it is heartwarming, funny and thoroughly entertaining.

I have to give a mention to the late Heath Ledger who i thought was amazing in this film. He is sadly gone but will really be missed as he was a uniquely talented and much loved person. Its so tragic that hes gone.

I dont think that this film is your typical teen rom com. It is intelligent, well thought out and scripted and the actors have great chemistry with each other throughout.

You can buy 10 things i hate about you from Amazno for just £2.98 which is a brilliant price as it cost over £10 when i bought it.
