"100 Million B. C." is from Asylum films; a company who in recent years have specialised in making and releasing films deliberately titled and written to cash in on the hype surrounding major label releases. Generally, however, the films they make are far worse than the originals and rarely worth watching. Given that "100 Million B. C." is based on "10,000 B. C.", which wasn't really all that good a film to start with, you can maybe guess that this one isn't going to be worth watching, either. After seeing this DVD in Woolworths and the cover looking really good we decided to buy it and give it a go. What a big mistake! At the beginning of the film we see a man and a woman abseiling down the side of a mountain as there is talk of hidden caves on it. The woman falls and just happens to land at the opening to one of these caves. Inside the cave a dinosaur skeleton is found and also cave painting. We are then introduced to a group of men who are a special search and rescue team. They are called in to work one day to discover a truly different rescue mission facing them.
