Story.
When Jenna Rink makes a wish on her 13th birthday she skips adolescence and becomes 30. She wakes up to find that she is now a 30-year-old, high-powered, New York magazine editor. Frightened and confused by her new adult life, Jenna seeks out her old friend Matty, but he hasn't spoken to her since high school, and she has to fight to win back her friend. Trying to muddle her way through her new life, she learns a lot of lessons and who her real friends are.

My Thoughts:
13 going on 30 is funny and enjoyable if a little bit predictable. As a child of the 80s I love all of the references and songs from the 80s. This film made me laugh and I enjoyed it as well as the music throughout - A good girly film. Jennifer and Mark are good as a comic and romantic pairing - neither of them take themselves too serious thought out the film and it makes it all the more pleasent to watch.

This is one of those movies that serve purely as entertainment. In short it is a great way to spend a couple of hours relaxed, and not having to think too much.
