As a 24 year old man, this film wasn't high on my list of must-see summer blockbusters. However, Her Indoors insisted we watch this last night and despite my initial groanings it was........ok. Look, it's basically Freaky Friday/Vie Versa all over again but with star of the moment Zac Efron and star of yesteryear Matthew ... Read the complete review

As much as I would like to say that this film was fantasic, it isn't. The story follows Michael O'Donnell, former star basketball player, current father and husband. His wife is about to divorce him, he isnt on great terms with his children and he is bored with his job. Michael meets a janior at his old high school while he is ... Read the complete review

As seems to be the case with many people, I entered the cinema expecting this film to cater purely for the pre-teen, High school musical mad age group. However, in many ways I was pleasantly surprised- whilst not original, the fim had some funny moments and I particularly enjoyed the scene of Zac Efron dancing alongside the cheerleaders. Perhaps ... I went to the cinema to see this film thinking it would be full of High School Musical fans but i was surprised. There was a wide range of ages! I had always thought Zac Efron was cheesy but i really like him in this film. I was disappointed Matthew Perry only had a small part in the film, i would have liked to have seen him in more of it. Zac Efron isnt just the HSM star! I was expecting this one to be a bit lame after seeing him in HSM but he suprised me. He really isnt as bad an actor as i once thought, he was actually pretty good. Efron is known as the heart throb and it made me chuckle to see him look so bad at the start of the film. Along with Efron being one of ... Read the complete review

17 again- I actually thought it would just be some high school movie with Matthew Perry having a funny role- like in friends. My guess was half right but I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I don't want to tell the whole story but just to summarise- as the title suggests it's about Matthew Perry (mike) becoming 17 again. But there's a ... Read the complete review

When I first saw the adverts of 17 Again I thought that I could just guess what this film was about and how it would end, Man fed up with life, reverses to his younger, hotter more successful self before realizing that he had what he wanted from life all along. Nevertheless, despite this predictability it didn't stop me from loving the film. Zac ... Read the complete review

This is such a funny film!
I went to the cinema to see this movie and I have to say it was absolutely brilliant, the only downside was none of thr boys would come with us as they all thought it was a chick flick!
This is an easy to watch, good storyline, but not too strenuos film.
It hillariously funny, although in some parts the humour was a little wierd.
I dont know what rating this film was but its listed under childrens films on here - I definately would not say its a childrens film. Young adults maybe, but not small children.

This film has not long come out in the cinemas in the UK. It stars Zac Efron (High School Musical) and Matthew Perry (Friends) so it is obviously going to do well with the ladies. Thanks to the movie High School Musical the star of 17 Again is hot property in Hollywood at the moment so it is pretty obvious that the movie industry would attempt to cash in on his appeal and hence you get rather average movies like this one that will trade on his name and provide a limited appea to movie goers unless you are one of his young, ... I saw 17 again at the cinema this afternoon. I had a day off work and my friend is currently unemployed and we fancied seeing something fairly mindless so picked this film! It was exactly what we expected really! A film to appeal to kids and teens really but perfectly watchable for two people in their 30's too! :-) 17 again ... Read the complete review

I had a few days off the last few weeks and wanted to see something relaxing at the cinema. 17 Again is the film of the moment, with a heavy advertising campaign behind it which has been designed to catch the attention of every pre-teen and teen girl, due to its huge photos of Zac Efron which I have seen on various buses and billboards. 17 Again has a simple plot. It features Mike (Matthew Perry), a 37 year old who feels that ... Read the complete review

I've not been that much of a fan of High School Musical, Hairspray or anything like that so hadn't really seen Zac Efron much. So when my pals all wanted to see this film, I wasn't that sure if I would like it or not. I've never been into teenage girly films that much, steering more to Harry Potter and Twilight. However I was pleasently surprised ... Read the complete review

This is one of those trading places comedies where an adult beciomes a teenager or vice versa in the same genre as great films like Big and Freaky Friday, now these films live and die dependant on the quality of the actor playing the role of an older or younger character while in their own body and on this score this film starring Zac Effron falls ...
