After encountering its worst Season yet in Season 6, there was the worry that the show had finally run out of steam and had nothing new to offer fans. A trailer was released that revealed that Tony Almeida would be returning as a villain, and then...The Writer's Strike happened. This caused the show to be delayed for a year, and thus it finally began airing in January 2009. With the year wait, have the writers recharged their batteries and delivered a refreshing twist on the show? Well, sort of; this is a sight better than the last season, but it's still riddled with the same problems of the newer seasons, chiefly that the show has simply become too accustomed ... Apologies in advance if you've never seen an episode of 24. This review assumes some knowledge of the show and its main characters. I can't imagine anyone buying the set of season 7 DVDs without having watched another episode, but I felt it was worth saying anyway. Also there may be some mild spoilers about previous seasons. Apologies again. After six seasons of 24, I had a distinct case of Bauer-fatigue. Here's why and it contains a spoiler for the previous season 6 if you haven't seen it. After enduring all manner of absurd humiliations and ridiculous threats, the show crossed a big line four hours in to the sixth season when terrorists exploded a ... Read the complete review

It's official; this season of 24 may just have taken the mantel as the most mental of the entire seven season run so far. Keifer Sutherland returns as Jack Bauer, our favourite secret agent who takes no shit from anyone and get the job done anyway he can. However this time he's feeling heat from the government he's bailed out on numerous occasions. One senator doesn't take kindly to Jack's methods and we join the action as Jack get's grilled in a senate hearing. But it's not long before Jack is pulled away by the FBI to identify a suspect in a possible terrorist plot. In true 24 style the suspect is revealed as previously dead former CTU agent Tony ... After whetting our appetites with 24: Redemption, the full season 7 is finally here to satisfy fans cravings for Jack with some new and (suprising) old faces. If, like me you dont have Sky TV then its been a long wait since season 6 DVD release and I have to say I wasnt disappointed with 7's offerings. I did think that some of the twists and turns were included just to raise the viewers anxiety levels, especially given the situations Jack found himself in, and, at times I found myself thinking "why doesnt he just tell them all to go to h*ll and let someone else sort it out" But as this is esentially the shows premise it would be unlikely that this ... Me, my Husband and Sister are known to get a 24 series and sit in all weekend to watch it all as we are that addicted. We did not have that plan with season 7 as all of our jobs prevent us from doing so but once we got into the series we have done nothing but watch it at every opportunity. Here is why I think season 7 of 24 has been absolutely fantastic and why I think 24 is not going off its boils as some people have been saying. Now as this is series 7 of 24 I will try not to give any spoilers but I cannot guarantee that some people may see some in this review so please do not read if you don't want to know anything at all. Thanks. Ok so ... Read the complete review
