24 stars Kiefer sutherland as CTU as Jack Bauer. The show is about terrorists that plan to attack the United States of America. It's set in real time, and there are twenty four hours in a day obviously and this is twenty four hours in real time of a continuous plot. Mainly evolving around terroists threatning the US president and senate and causing havoc. Jack Bauer is the good guy who will use any means to stop them. Not all people who work with him are to be trusted. It's suprising, interesting and the plots are engrossing and the twists you dont see coming. Every minute is thrilling and edge of your seat action. This third series of 24 is very different to ... Read the complete review

24 returned for a third series with Kiefer Sutherland returning as Jack Bauer. Each episode is shot in real time, so each hour long episode is an hour of that day. The clock that ticks on screen reminds the viewer what time it is and the multi screen means you keep up with events. In series 3, Jack Bauer returns three years after the last series. Jack has been working undercover in that time trying to bring down drug criminal Lord Ramon Salazar. Returning to L.A Bauer discovers that a deadly virus is to be released in the city if Salazar isn't released from prison. Consequently, Bauer has to break Salazar out of prison himself and put his own ... Read the complete review

By now you have probably realised I do have a bit of a Jack addiction. I love these when they are shown on TV and as soon as they are available on DVD I rush out and snap them up. Once again this series has moved on again from the last series - 3 years to be precise - at this rate Jack will getting his pension by the end of series 10!! This series needs jack to save the world from Drug dealers and deadly plague - perhaps they should have sent Jack into Mexico and then we wouldn't have had the problems we have now! Sorry I digress. Jack has been working undercover prior to the start of this series and this has left him with some addiction ... Read the complete review

24 series 3 Jack is back, and back with a bang. Series 3 takes places two years after the end of series 2. This series is no walk in the park for Jack, he must quickly re-infiltrate a Mexican drug gang, from which he has previous history, to buy a lethal virus to prevent it from being used as a weapon by terrorists. The goal is that once Jack and the gang have the virus, it can be seized by CTU, but of course it's never that easy! This series also focuses on Jack's struggle to overcome his herion addiction that he picked up when undercover on a previous mission. Personally this is one of my favourite series, most of it takes place in los angeles, ... Read the complete review
