Disadvantages: Predictable

Katherine Heigl is a delight in the role of serial bridesmaid Jane in this hit flick, continuing her ascension into the big leagues of the acting community.

The premise of the film is Heigl's character Jane, who has a reputation for wanting to please everyone, is exposed as a regular bridesmaid when a columnist for the wedding pages, Kevin Doyle (James Marsden), discovers her twenty-seven dresses. He then goes about writing an article on how she is "always, always the bridesmaid", getting to know her through his original intention of writing a piece on her sister Tess' (Malin Akerman) wedding to the man Jane loves, her boss George (Edward Burns). And of course, feelings spark up where "unexpected".

While quite predictable, it's an incredibly enjoyable, entertaining and amusing film with a talented cast who all fit perfectly into their roles and a well written script.

Anyone should give this film a try, regardless of age (just not children) or sex.

Summary: Katherine Heigl is a delight in the role of serial bridesmaid Jane in this hit flick.
