I recently saw 27 dresses at the cinema and thought it was a really good movie. It's the best movie I've seen in a long time. When I first saw the adverts for it , and read the reviews in magazines , I knew it would be a good film. I was glad I was right too , because my predictions of the last movie I'd seen , St Trinians was wrong - I thought it looked good , but it turned out to be an awful film in my opinion. However I am not here to review St Trinians , I am here to review 27 dresses. So here we go....

27 Dresses was released in the United Kingdom in March 2008. The running time of 27 Dresses is 107 minutes.

* 27 Dresses - The Characters *
Jane - played by Katherine Heigl - A kind and caring character who will do anything to please others.

Kevin - played by James Marsden - A very hot , wedding writer.
Tess - Malin Akerman - Jane's Sister who is very popular with guys. (She reminds me of Roxy of Eastenders )

George - Edwards Burnes - Jane's boss , who she has a crush on.

* 27 Dresses - The Story *

Without giving too much of the storyline away , I am going to try and explain the movie.
Jane has been a bridesmaid 27 times hence the name of the movie. One night she is switching between one wedding party and another , as she is bridesmaid at both and doesn't want to let each bride down , so she continues to change dresses and take a taxi back and forth from one venue to the next. During the evening she meets Kevin , who takes a liking to her , however Jane isn't interested in him as she has a major crush on her boss George. Kevin continues to 'stalk' Jane in a friendly way. Jane is upset when at a party when Jane's sister Tess goes with Jane's crush George. They then get together. Although Jane is extremely hurt she continues to keep her cool in order to keep the pair happy. What will happen on the end ? Will Tess and George go through with the wedding , or will Jane break them up ? How will Jane deal with Kevin ?

* My opinion *
I love this film. I think it's perfect for a sleepover. James Marsden , who plays Kevin is very hot! I think he's mainly why I like the film so much! hehe! Although the storyline is simple and easy to follow , i think it's a really good stroyline. There is some comedy in the film , some things which my friend and I found extremely funny. I recommend everyone who loves chick flicks go and see this! It's my favourite film! I give 27 Dresses a 10/10.
