27 Dresses (27 Dresses (DVD))

Advantages: Fab Girly film Disadvantages: None I have been waiting for this to be shown on Sky for months and watched it for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It starts with a character that loves to organise weddings and has been a bridesmaid 27 times in total. She is in love with her Boss, George, who does not notice her romantically. Her sister, Tess comes to stay with her, who is a model and sweeps George off his feet, but she does not show George who she really is and this upsets Jane. George and Tess decide to get married and she asks Jane to organise everything. In the meantime, Jane is attracting interest from a Journalist called Kevin who covers wedding stories for a national paper and runs a story on Jane always being the bridesmaid and never the bride. He falls in love with her and cannot stop the story from being printed which humiliates Jane. Whilst giving a speech at Tess and George's engagement party, Jane slips out Tess' real side and the pair split. Jane and George share a tender moment but Jane realises that she is not in love with him and goes after her true love. This film is an excellent girly film that warrants tons of chocolate and a bottle of wine. Summary: Excellent film |
