Advantages: makes you see things from a different point of view , a great film
Disadvantages: none
Sandra Bullock has starred in a lot of films, Practical Magic and Miss Congeniality are just two examples of the many films she has appeared in. In this one Sandra plays an alcoholic called Gwen. Gwen drinks and partys a lot. Her life is full of fun. But after ruining her sisters wedding and driving into a house in the wedding car, she's sent to a rehap centre instead of jail. Up until then Gwen has done everything on the spot, she had never once thought about planning something. But being put in rehap changes her and her life definately for the better. At first she doesn't like it there. She is made to clean toilets and do things she normally wouldn't even consider. She shares a room with another young woman, her room mate often attempts suicide and Gwen had once saved her, but then one day Gwen went back to her room to find she had taken an overdose and she was lying dead in the bathroom. This really shocked Gwen and left her very upset. Whilst in rehap Gwen falls out of a tree after trying to get down it from her window to reach her pills that she had dropped. She changes a lot during her stay in rehap and she comes out a better woman, much to the suprise of all her friends and her boyfriend, Jasper. This is a great film and very enjoyable. I love watching it and it does make you see things from a different point of view which does make films better. I really like this film and I am sure you will too.

- 22/08/01 Welcome to Dooyoo. Pretty good start, but include more opinion/analysis (eg. what you thought of acting) rather than just plot. Read around a lot too and rate ops, because that encourages reads! Ben |
