I find it hard to describe how much I love this programme, maybe its my love of musicals as this is essentially a mini-musical every day. I have to confess to not having the DVD so I can't comment on any extra features but I have seen most episodes of this programme at least once now so can reasonably comment on it. 3rd and Bird is a 10 minute animation shown daily on Cbeebies. They regularly change the schedule around but at the moment it is on at 12.30. I record them all so I can put one on when we need to relax a bit and they are a great length to keep my 20 month old son's concentration, although if we're feeling particularly lazy we might ... This is a lovely animated series shown on cbeebies at 1825 each evening (after In the Night Garden), and at only 10 minutes long per episode, doesn't outstay its welcome! It is about a group of birds that live on the corner of 3rd & Bird in a big old tree. The main characters are Samuel, a love bird, and Rudy, a cockatiel, who are best friends, and Muffin, Samuels's baby sister. They spend their days learning about friendship, helping others, building things or just playing. The funaspect is that they sing and dance through their all their fun!
