THe first 3x3 eyes could be viewed as a standalone film. However, the creators decided to drag the story to its conclusion ( a disapointing one at that). You have Pai - the last surviving member of the Triclops race - 3 eyed ppl. You also have a boy named Yakumo. He's the hero. 3x3 Eyes is a title that's been out for a long time. Split into two Original Animated Video (OAV) series the first one released as two tapes of two episodes each, the later one split across a further 3 tapes of one episode each. The first series is the main focus of my review as I've seen all of it, the second series lost some of the charm that had been present and I've not seen the last episode. 3x3 Eyes is a four part Original Video Animation. It is available as four separate tapes or as one tape containing all four parts(the Perfect Collection). There was a second OVA released in Japan also with four parts that continued the story. Plot: The main plot is that Pai is the last Sanjiyan, a race of beings that look like humans. Since she is the last member of her race, her greatest desire is to become human.
