I re-watched 40 days and 40 nights this month and have to say it was one of the worst films i remember seeing; the last time i watched it was when i was at universiaty and the general cheesesy theme was quite entertaiing, however revisiting it now i found it very poor. The story centers on Josh Harnett who is in love with his ex and has been on a rampage of sexual partners before realising he needs to calm down and therefore she decided to not engage is any sexual acts for the 40 days of Lent. Of course, days after this he meets a nice lady who tries to get with him but he is having to make up excuses as to why he cant. Running alongside this is that his workmates have put his quest on the internet and are taking bets for which day Josh will crack. It comes to a head on the 39th night with the ex, the new girlfriend and the internet. I wont say what happens but it is a very lame end. This is tacky teen rubbish at it worse; the film centers on sex a lot although does have the odd reflective moment; however on the whole I would not recommend this to anyone to watch!
