No Country For Old Men (DVD) ... Country for Old Men is a mesmerising film. Not that Cohen Brother s films aren t normally, but this is mesmerising in the way a David Lynch or David Cronenburg film is (Lost Highway and Existence spring to mind). You can just get into purely the rhythm of the film and this is before you get the story which is faithfully based on the 2005 novel by Cormac McCarthy, which is also called No Country for Old Men. The plot is simple. Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) is out hunting one day and comes across a drugs deal gone wrong. There s bodies everywhere, a track full of heroin and a large amount of money. Dirty Dancing (DVD) ... dancing really is a great film. Though not suitable for young children for all women it is a dream come true. Seeing Patrick in his prime lifting up the actress really makes you wish it was you. It is about a young woman who goes on holiday as a sweet girl then meets this man who she falls in love with, he teaches her dirty dancing, and how to do different lifts and turns, and changes her into a confident women. I think every woman has watched this film and loves it. It really gets you in the spirit to dance and I love the music in it too. I Am Legend (DVD) ... am legend is not for the faint hearted, I am someone who gets scared easily but I have to say I did enjoy this film. It is about a disease that spreads to almost all humans and creatures after an experiment to get rid of cancer goes wrong. Humans and creatures start to turn into vampires, and it spreads through the air. A policeman (Will smith) has to fight the vampires and find a cure for the disease. But his companion a dog gets bitten by one of the vampires and dies. This is a bit of a tear jerker but it kept me on the edge of my seat for the whole film!
