(Film Only Review) 48 hrs was directed by Walter Hill, who directed one of my favourite films, The Warriors. So as you can tell, I was excited to hear that the same person who directed The Warriors did other films. I was more excited when I heard that ITV1 was showing this, so I decided to watch it. Eddie Murphy plays his role as a comic criminal in this film perfect, showing though that when bullets start flying he can keep his senses, and Nick Nolte plays the part of cop to perfection as he has so many times before The film starts off with a bang. That's the thats the prison escape of convict Ganz and his escape accomplice Billy Bear after killing two guards, Ganz and Billy Bear hightail it to San Francisco, where they hope to recover the half-million dollars that was stolen in a robbery years earlier.
