Uncle Buck (DVD) ... Candy stars in this funny family film playing the part of Uncle Buck. He is a fun loving bachelor who doesn t like hard work and is forever getting nagged by his girlfriend to get himself a job. Buck receives a phone call late one night from his brother who needs his help. His father in law has had a heart attack and he and his wife have got to go but they need Buck to come and watch their 3 children for them. Their usual babysitter is unavailable and Buck agrees to help. He turns up dressed as his usual scruffy self in his rust bucket car and he soon makes his presence felt. Monty Python's Life Of Brian (DVD) ... think that Monty Python s Life of Brian is a very entertaining film to watch, it follows the life of a baby who could have been the Messiah, but instead his mother told the Wise Men to get lost. It is very interesting some of the content in the film because it shows some of the things that went on in the time of Christ, the fact that the gladiator had a cardiac arrest, but exclaimed it is comical in itself because we only gave that a name recently. It follows the Python s clasic style of inserting things into their films or sketches that will never have existed in those times. Doctor Who - Series 2 Vol. 2 (DVD) ... David Tennant having shown what he is capable of as the Doctor in his first two episodes, he jumps straight in as if it had been him all along in the following episodes. In fact, this is technically true of the character, as the Doctor is the same person with regeneration giving him a different outlook. The three episodes in this DVD have many in jokes and moments that many might not get. I watched them with my wife, who has seen them all before and has just recently finished watching the end of the fourth series, and she mentioned a number of things that made later episodes make sense, so the whole series and the following ones all link to each other in subtle wa...
