Quantum of Solace (DVD) ... had really enjoyed the first Daniel Craig outing as James Bond as he bought a colder more edgy feel to the role more akin to the character in the Ian Fleming books rather than the wise cracking fop that Roger More turned the character into or the equally lame Pierce Brosnan. I was expecting a similar outing this time round however this film falls short of the standard set by Casino Royale, it is still better than most of the recent Bond movies but in my opinion it is trying too hard to steal the thunder of the Bourne Identity and the whole camera switching style of filming just set me on edge rather than getting me on the edge of my seat. School Of Rock (DVD) ... of Rock is a great comedy and music film that will entertain the whole family. It will make you laugh and the story is very good and original. In the film, the main character, Finn gets a job as a sub teacher at a private school. They don t not what to do with each other until they realise the kids are good at musical instruments. He then turns the class into a rock and roll band that will enter a competition in order to win $20,000. Will they win? The story is very good and is very interestng. The twists kept me hooked. I Am Legend (DVD) ... you have seen 28 days later, and the sequel 28 weeks later and enjoyed them, then you ll like I am Legend. The plot is so similar, it s surprising there was no court case, however even though it s a bit heard it all before it does not stop it being gripping. In case you are unfamiliar with the plot, Will Smith plays Robert Neville, possibly the only survivor of a deadly virus. We follow him as looks for other uninfected people and tries to find the cure for the virus. As in 28 weeks.. where you see the eerie pictures of a deserted London, we see a view of New York with not a human being to be seen.
