... have always really enjoyed anything with Jennifer Garner in it after firstly seeing her in Alias and then 13 going on 30 and though I was not as impressed with this film it was still a good Drama come Romance. The Truth About Cats And Dogs (DVD) ... is a Romantic Comedy all about mistaken identity when Abby (Janeane Garofalo) a veterinarian with a radio talk show receives a call from Brian (Ben Chaplin) who is having trouble with his new dog. The pair hit it off on the radio and when Brian asks Abby to meet him she agrees but because of her low self-esteem she describes herself as a tall blond and then has no choice but to ask her beautiful blonde neighbour Noelle (played by Uma Thurman) to take her place. The situation becomes more and more complex when Noelle begins to fall for Brian. I quite liked this film but I have to say that it s not one of my favourites. Monsters Inc. (DVD) ... am not usually that impressed with these type of animation films but I got persuaded to go to the cinema to see Monsters inc with a friend and I loved every single second of it including the funny out takes at the end, which really would have taken hours to create. The animation is amazing, every detail like the fur on Sully (John Goodman) is so life like that you can t help but get sucked into the colourful animated world that s on screen. And don t get me started on the action sequences-Wow! As with all animation the creators try to hit the right level of humour to keep the kids amused and the adults and it doesn t always work but with Billy Crystal (Mike) this works... Groundhog Day (DVD) ... hog day is a great movie. It stars bill murray and andie macdowell. Bill Murray plays the character of Phil Connors a weather man for a local weather station and every year he has to attend groundhog day in his small village. Now phil really doesnt enjoy this event, he find the people annoying, the town annoying, he really doesnt have alot of good to say. After a nightmare day, he goes to sleep, and when he awakes, something isnt right, and everything seems the same as the day before, what phil doesnt realise yet is he will relieve the same day everyday, until he learns a valuable lesson.
