Bolt (DVD) ... love animated movies usually but overlooked this one at first because the cover looked too childish. A few days ago I decided to give it a try though, and it was a good decision. The dog is the star of a hit TV show where he plays a superhero, he has never left the set so actually believes he has super powers. He accidentally leaves the set one day and finally realises that he is normal. It is a similar tale to what happened to Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story, but this is a very different movie. He finds 2 new friends on his journey back to find his owner. There is tonnes of action scenes and also plenty of time for jokes too. This isn t the best animated film around but ... Tweenies - Music is Pop-A-Rooney (DVD) ... of the Tots My younger brother is quite a bit younger than me and when he was even younger still I brought him Tweenies Pop-a-rooney on VHS. I think I watched it every day back then and began knowing all the songs, so when my daughter came along I knew that I had to track it down on DVD for her (if nothing else I wanted to see if I still knew the words!!) My daughter had only just got into the Tweenies when I first got her this DVD so I wasn t sure how she would take to it, especially as it takes a different form to the usual Tweenies episodes, so with fingers crossed, we sat down on the sofa and put the DVD into the machine.
