Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) is a family man who is forced to watch the murder of his wife and daughter when his house is broken into by two men. Nice Rice (Jamie Foxx) is the assistant district attorney who cuts a deal w... Read the full review: 'It's gonna get Biblical' by tommy7 |

Lethal Weapon (DVD) ... Weapon is the first in a classic series of cop comedies starring Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. It was released in 1987, and tells the story of Murtaugh (Glover), an old school cop who hates working with partners. In comes his new partner, Riggs (Gibson), who is equally against the idea of working with a partner. Together the two work their way through a drug dealing case. Well, films like this are a dime a dozen are they not? Two different cops work as partners, and comedy ensues in their different styles and methods. To be honest, the whole plot of this film is basic and predictable, and does very little that a million films like it haven t done. There are chase s... Black Christmas [2006] (DVD) ... kind of like the concept of opening a horror picture on Christmas day, in theory at least. It adds to the mix and the choices. In a very real sense, Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees and Freddy Krueger are th... Read the full review: I'd Rather Eat Sprouts by manonfireuk |

Turkey Shoot (DVD) ... a future totalitarian society, deviants are rounded up and put into concentration camps and forced to endure daily humiliation. Thatcher s camp manages to do away with many of its inmates by holding weekly turkey shoots - organised hunts of the inmates. However, one new inmate isn t going to go down quietly and intends to end this vicious regime. Turkey Shoot wasn t a great film, but it was fantastic entertainment. It s successful because it manages to blend sci-fi, horror and action into a workable entity and manages to work on a myriad of different levels. Yes, its been done before and it will be done again, but Turkey Shoot is different because it s a funky t... Read the full review: Ozploitation Classic! by adambrown400 |
