Fulci made some very good horrors, from visually inventive gialli like Don t Torture A Duckling to effective zombie gorefests like House by the Cemetery. But was very prolifi... Freddy vs Jason (DVD) ... the red and green corner, weighing in with one genuine movie classic and six sequels of varying credibility and quality, once an original icon of horror now a lampooned cartoon figure associated with the 1980s: Freddy Krueger! In the white and red corner, weighing in with one half-decent send up sequel: Jason Vorhees! This was the moment many slasher fans of the 80s had been waiting for. We didn t think we would have to wait this long. Hell Night (DVD) ... Night~~~ A sorority initiation of hazing with four fraternity pledges plans to be a night of fun for the party organisers. Held overnight in an abandoned legendary mansion the four students expect to be scared, however the legend of Garth manor precedes itself and all involve really experience what the true meaning of hell night is. ~The cast: Linda Blair ~ Marty Vincent Van Patten ~ Seth Peter Bartin ~ Jeff Kevin Brophy ~ Peter Jenny Neumann ~ May Suki Goodwin ~ Denise Jimmy Sturtevant ~ Scott ~My opinion: Released in 1981 and directed by Tom De Simone, this film will remind you of some of the 80 s cheesy horror films, that tried to replicate the success ... Black Water (DVD) ... Water. During a trip through a Mangrove swamp in Australia Grace (Diana Glenn), her husband Adam (Andy Rodoreda) and Grace s little sister Lee (Maeve Dermody) find themselves attacked by a crocodile. The boat has been capsized, the guide is missing and although Adam & Grace make it to the relative safety of a tree, Lee is stuck on the bottom of the upturned boat. The Massive Crocodile is loitering around the area awaiting easy pickings although he cannot be seen, as the water is so murky, the group needs to escape but with no knowledge of the area and no relevant skills they will be hard pushed to even survive., especially as no-one knows where they are.
