Iron Maiden - Flight 666 (DVD) ... Maiden: Flight 666 was a very low-key documentary that was released for one night only in cinemas in April 2009. I didn t catch the film then, but I do remember a deluge of people wearing Iron Maiden shirts in the local pub near my cinema on that day, which was quite amusing, and says all you need to know about this film: it s really for the hardcore Maiden nuts, but those nuts will be greatly rewarded. As a Maiden fan myself, I didn t need much convincing to check out this concert film come documentary, which jumps from city to city as we see the band performing the majority of their best songs in their expansive tour that literally goes all over the place. Michael Jackson's This Is It (Collector's Edition, 2 DVDs) ... is a *film only* review. I have always been a Michael Jackson fan. For as long as I can remember I have listened and danced to his music and this year I thought a dream of mine had come true, I had two tickets to see the great man himself performing live at the o2 Arena in London! As everyone now knows, this wasn t meant to be. Just a few weeks before the live concerts were due to begin the unthinkable happened and MJ tragically passed away. This film is really shows what the show would have been like. The film is made up of rehearsal footage that was shot for Michael s own personal collection and it is if great quality.
