Dreamgirls (DVD) ... is a fun film with a great soundtrack and it is a rollicking rollercoaster of a ride. It tells the story of an all girl motown group and their rise to the top of the charts. It starts with the three girls apearing in a talent show, Deena, Lorrell and Effie and their singing attracts the attention of Curtis Tylor a car salesman who dreams of making it big himself but as a manager and he persuades the girls to sign up with him however his first action is to make Deena the lead singer even though the ther girls have more talent and this causes frictions in the team.
