Faith No More - You Fat Bastards - Live At Brixton (VHS) ... third video release,You Fat Bs is a compilation of music videos and live performance band by huge 90s Rock sensation outfit Faith No More. The sheer quality of performances alone make it definitely worth a look. Vocalist Mike Patton improvises profusely and there are some truly tremendous variations on such classic songs as Midlife Crisis, Epic, Everything s Ruined, We Care a Lot and Surprise! You re Dead. As you may have gathered, most of the songs are from the bands less mainstream, but intensely creative album, Angel Dust, yet there are also a fair amount of tracks from The Real Thing and King For a Day, which are certainly worth noting. Michael Jackson's This Is It (Collector's Edition, 2 DVDs) ... is a film only review as the DVD is not out yet so it is not possible to review the special edition version. This film consists of the rehersal material that had been shot while Jackson was preparing for his world tour which never took place due to his death, it could be viewed either as a sad attempt by his estate to cash in on whatever they can or it could be one final momento to his loyal fans, after seeing the film I would say it is really a bit of both and to be honest would only really appeal to die hard fans however the general sense of hysteria that arose after his death will probably see sales soaring when it is available. Iron Maiden - Flight 666 (DVD) ... Maiden: Flight 666 was a very low-key documentary that was released for one night only in cinemas in April 2009. I didn t catch the film then, but I do remember a deluge of people wearing Iron Maiden shirts in the local pub near my cinema on that day, which was quite amusing, and says all you need to know about this film: it s really for the hardcore Maiden nuts, but those nuts will be greatly rewarded. As a Maiden fan myself, I didn t need much convincing to check out this concert film come documentary, which jumps from city to city as we see the band performing the majority of their best songs in their expansive tour that literally goes all over the place.
