So, having really enjoyed the X Men films, I sat down with my 15 year old lad and Mrs H to watch the film on Vi... Read the full review: Puppy love? by paulhanton |

The Polar Express (DVD) ... feel very qualified to review this film as it is my son s current favourite DVD so I have watched this every day for the past two weeks. However my son does call it polar bear express. The film was released in 2004 and on DVD released in 2005 and is based on the book written in 1958 by Chris Van Allsburg The DVD is a story of the voyage to the North Pole on the polar express. The young boy doubts the reality of Christmas when the train pulls up. He has to consider whether to catch the train and when he finally decides to do so the train is pulling away. He meets three main characters on the train a caring sensible young girl, a nerdy boy called Lenny and a young sad l... Read the full review: All aboard for christmas family viewing by wisemind |

The Omega Man (DVD) ... is really not a film which I would have chosen to watch myself but hubby talked me into it by telling me it was the original I am Legend , which is a film I enjoyed, was based on. After hearing this I did decided to give it a go but oh boy what a disaster in more ways than one! This is a FILM ONLY review Robert Neville is the last man alive after a biological warfare has killed the rest of the population. Robert was in the process of making a vaccine for the disease which has turned a few of the humans in zombie and as a result he has not been infected. He is spending his days trying to perfect his vaccine to try and turn the zombies back to humans and his nights ... Read the full review: The Original is not always the Best by sewbizzie |
