Being a huge One Tree Hill fan and a fan of Chad Michael Murray this was a film that I had to watch and it being one of the classic story lines that I read as a child it was an alright film, I could not say that it is the best film that I have ever seen, but it is definitely not the worst one either.

Meet high school student Sam played by Hilary Duff, who plays the Cinderella of this story. After her father died, her evil step mother makes Sam scrubs floors at a diner her father used to own.

Sam dreams of going to Princeton, but that is all it seems a dream and her evil stepmother and stepsisters seen to throw a spanner in the works so that she will never go to find her prince charming.

But maybe she has a Prince Charming already, in her anonymous e-mail/text buddy played by Chad Michael Murray they really hit it off by email and in the end he arranges to meet her at the Halloween dance.

Sam cannot go to the dance after her stepmother tells her that she cannot go to the dance as she has to work. Her friend at the diner then helps her by telling her she can go and she will cover for her and they find the most stunning dress for Sam to wear. In true storybook fashion Sam has to be back before midnight.

Sam panics when Mr. Anonymous turns out to be the coolest guy on campus, she wonders if he can love a girl who isn't part of the in crowd. Will it ever work and will there be a happy ever after, of course there will as this is a Cinderella story.

One to watch as a remake of the classic storybook all children have heard.
