A Complete History Of My Sexual Failures, directed by and starring Chris Wiatt, a man who bears uncanny resemblance to Kurt Cobain and whose directing style is equal parts Nick Broomfield and Louis Theroux, is a ridiculously entertaining, wholly endearing and staggeringly narcissistic documentary / rom-com hybrid. This proved to be an entertaining documenary style piece of work hat was a bit of a sleeper when it comes to any sort of recognition. It is a funny depiction of one mans journey to try and find why all the women in his life eded up dumping him, now this could be the sort of thing that destroys the male ego, frail thing that it is and you will just have to watch this to find out if it was the size of his wedding tackle that was the problem or some personality trait. After spotting this film in my local video store the other day, I couldn't resist a watch with a title like this! Chris Waitt is a young(ish) floppy haired independent film maker who decides to make a film in order to find out why he has been dumped by pretty much every girl he has been out with. I think the best way to imagine him is a stereotypical student that never grew up.
