Advantages: Great acting and brilliant plot

Disadvantages: Most of it is not based on a true story

I am not usually a person who likes to watch haunting films I find that they seem farfetched and unreal. This one I had the same views about and the only reason that I watched it was because it was based on a true story.

It is about a family that move to a house to be near a hospital that their son is going to. They find after a few days that the house is haunted and that it used to be used as a funeral directors but at first there is only their son that sees the events.

I thought in the begining that it was going to be a grusom killing spree of some sort then it seemed to be like a polterguist/Exorcist film due to the strange goings on and I did think he was posessed at one point too.

Almost to the end of the film the plot actually comes out and it is the dying son that saves the day. I must say I knew this was going to happend but the very end was a suprise does he live does he die? you will have to watch it.

It turned out to be a mind boggling film and had to be watched all the way through to get the plot that was happening. It made me jump and I had to turn away in some parts due to how well the graphics of this film have been done. I thought the plot of the story was brilliant and really kept me wanting to watch it. It is a scary film but gets your mind working as a thriller. It was a bit same as evey other horror/thriller film at first but does get alot better in the middle. The actors in this were very good they didn't seem put on to try and make the film scary like most films which made me enjoy the film more.

The paranormal activities in this film made my mind work overtime to think if this film really happened. Unfortunatly the true story is not as exciting as the film I have found out which was dissapointing.

This film has a good plot, great actors and is very well produced and made.

I throughly enjoyed this film and was gripped throughout. If you do not like horrors then this is not too bad to watch eventhough it does seem scary at first. If you are a thriller buff like me definatley watch it it is worth every penny.

Summary: brilliant watch that will keep you wanting to watch
