I loved this. It had me in hysterics throughout the entire movie.
It starts off with an addition to the family; new baby Pugsley. We then see the reaction of his older siblings, who are not too impressed with the new arrival. Christina Ricci gives a truly amazing performance as Wednesday (who, as you can probably tell by my username made a big impact on me).
The scene is again disturbed by the er... nanny, played by Joan Cusack (sister of John). As it soon turns out, she has more to do than reading bedtime stories.
All sorts of things happen throughout the movie, including what appeals to be Wednesdays first smile...
Brillantly and wittingly scripted, this movie provides humour on all levels.
