Advantages: Enjoyable sci-fi romp

Disadvantages: Nothing spectacular in any way

If you do, you probably won't enjoy it. Personally, I had my doubts about this movie before I watched it. I knew it wasn't gonna rock the movie world, but I was still curious. And overall, I enjoyed it quite a bit. I've never seen the series, so I hadn't any previous knowledge of the Aeon Flux world. So at times it was a bit weird, but I'm sure it all makes sense to any avid fan. Although it doesn't sound like many fans liked this movie very much. I thought the action was decent, hardly Matrix standard but fun to watch nevertheless, and although the acting was a bit wooden at times, I don't feel it really ruined the movie. There was enough going on to keep it interesting, even if it wasn't groundbreaking or original in any way. That said, there were a few interesting ideas of future technology that I'd not seen before. I would recommend that you rent this if you love your sci-fi and are aware that it is far from brilliant quality. And hey, Charlize Theron looks hot in this, that's worth seeing. A bit of dumb fun.
