This film is awful!
Really really bad.
It would be about an hour shorter if it didnt show will smith staring into sapce with music playing over the top.
The film starts with a look at racism in America and Mohammed ali's friendship with Malcolm x. This is quite interesting but when Malcolm dies the film just drags on about the 6 week wait for ali to fight Joe Frazier in Nigeria. It feels like you are in the cinema for the 6 weeks wait.
You know it is a bad film when you really couldn’t care less when it ends.
The directing was quite original but it really didn’t do it for me. The fight scenes are made quite well when you see punches being thrown from various angles but the obstructed view of smith and the home footage-esque camera shots really irritated me.

- 12/03/02 i know i have been churning a bit today but you must admit if you fell a film is really rubbish your not gonna be able to write much on it because you want to forget how bad it really was |

- 12/03/02 Sorry for the low rating, but I felt this lacked detail and information.
One small bit of advice - you'd be wise to slow down a bit and not write anymore today as if you get a reputation as a "churner" you won't get as many reads as if you space things out more, only write a few per day, and do lots of reading.
