Advantages: Aliens, Science Fiction, Sigourney Weaver as Ripley

Disadvantages: Old, Would be great with todays special effects, Not shown on TV often enough

Alien is one of those films that I could keep watching all the time. But, unfortunately, it is rarely on television anymore, apart from the odd showing on Sky Cinema now and then.

The storyline is that the crew of a spaceship have to fight for survival, and the survival of all mankind when they discover that these alien life forms breed within a human host.

Maybe it is the whole science fiction that gets me interested in seeing this film everytime it is shown.

Sigourney Weaver acts as Ripley

Tom Skerritt acts as Dallas
John Hurt acts as Kane
Ian Holm acts as Ash
Harry Dean Stanton acts as Brett
Yaphet Kotto acts as Parker
Veronica Cartwright acts as Lambert
