Alien- The first of the alien films starts on a ship in outer space, a planet is discovered and the team on the ship go to investigate. They find a fossil of an alien being and go deeper to find out more. After coming across a large area which is just overloaded with eggs, yes, alien eggs. One of the eggs opens and thrusts itself onto one of the crew members.
They all return to the ship with the unconscious crew member. After a while he comes round and gets together with the rest of the crew for a meal, this is where the film really starts. During the meal the previously unconscious crew member starts gagging, next thing an alien explodes out of his stomach, he then dies and the alien escapes into ship.
The rest of the film is spent trying to kill the alien, and the alien has a passion for killing the crew, in the end there is one person left, the super cool ripley (sigourney weaver) this film is full of good effects and good action. I love the alien films, they all seem to deliver the goods, most sequels don't do this.
