Advantages: Good horror film with usual alien problems to overcome

Disadvantages: change is ripley's charcter and strange storyline

At first the whole idea of Alien resurrection seems implausible after the events of Alien 3 however somehow a sort of plot has been conjured up to allow the resurrection of both Ripley and the alien. The story finds a mercenary crew making to them an unknown delivery of bodies used to reproduce the horror from within them. Soon all military personal find that the alien could never really be contained and once again several this time are set to wipe out anything in sight. Once released both Ripley along with her newly acquainted friends must soon take a journey across the alien infested ship to reach a ship and their only chance for survival. The film offers the usual chest bursting horror as the previous which create a decent film however the story and change in Ripley's character make the film never quite reach the heights of the previous three. In all for alien fans there is a film to be enjoyed here however don't expect a film quite as good as the others.
