Advantages: new stuff, good actors, and actresses, with nice effects too
Disadvantages: it's the fourth one now
For the fourth Alien film this turned out better than was expected. With again, a new angle taken on the whole saga. This stands head and shoulders above it's prequel, Alien 3, which gives it a better look, as frankly Alien 3 was the worst of the four. This contrast makes Ressurection seem a delightful note to finish on.
With Ripley now part alien, due to the DNA from alien 3 which they used to Ressurection her with.
The acting is good, obvilously staring Sigourney Weaver, and co-staring Winona Ryder and Ron Perlman. New angle, nice effects, and it's alien.
