As a 70 a day moker, I KNEW that this would never make me quit. I LOVE smoking - I love everything about it - I adore the smell, the taste and the look of cigarettes; I enjoy the paraphenalia that you have to carry round with you - the lighters, the matchbooks, the rizlas. I bought this DVD last wednesday as I have always been a big fan of Alan Carr. I always wondered wherehe got his dodgy teeth and odd voice from, and now I now that It was from all those years of smoking fags. No wonder the bloke tried to give up. However..... After rushing home with my DVD, getting the kettle on for a cup of tea (not coffee), I was bamboozled. I thought that HMV must have put the wrong disc in. On the 4th January 2009 (it was a Sunday before I went back to work after the New Year). I had a copy of Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking (2005) which (cynically I must admit) - I decided to put on the DVD player. I have had intentions for a while of giving up and was planning to spend £200 on going to hypnotherapy once I could afford it. So I didn't 'suffer' not smoking.
