I first discovered Alvin And The Chipmunks as the all singing animated trio back in the late 80s, when I was a kid. Years have passed, and multiple repeats of the cartoon have probably given the next generation of kids much the same enjoyment as I had. So, then, it was only a matter of time before the trio made it to the big screen in their first cinematic outing. I was babysitting yesterday and the older girls kept asking me to take them to see Alvin and The Chipmunks so I agreed. I had never heard of the film before so had no idea of what to expect. We got to the Odeon, paid the £19 for a family ticket and emptied the rest of the contents of my purse buying overpriced popcorn and juice and went in and took our seats.
