The rest of the cast have moved on. Now the writers are using relatives to try and keep the film ideas going. Great (!) Matt Stiffler is just like all the others, arrogant, obsessed with sex and getting plenty of it, despite looking only a little over 14. Matt messes up at school and is forced to go to bandcamp, where surprise surprise his whole life changes, because he realises that they are actually people. He falls in love with the girl he was an absolute jerk to all the way through school and does his best to redeem himself for all of the things that he'd done in the past. The film boasts the tagline 'the most outrageous slice of pie ever', I ... Read the complete review

note: also appears in part on Flixster and The Student Room Few thought the idea of a straight to DVD continuance of the American Pie series would be a good idea, I imagine. The first two installments were great, and the third one, while not as good, was still entertaining and worked as a solid bookend to the series, but here, with only two cast members returning - Eugene Levy as Jim's dad and Chris Owen as Sherman aka The Sherminator - there's not much for those who enjoyed the other films not because of their gross-out gags, but because of the charm and chemistry of the cast. Here, we get American Pie-lite, but the results overall aren't as unforgiveable as ... Read the complete review

American Pie Presents Band Camp is first of all not a sequel but a spin off so don't expect anything other than a lower grade film with the franchise name attached. The film sees the original film cast gone and a new bunch of young actors and actresses delighted to have been part of the American Pie franchise take up their roles. The basics of the story are that Matt (the younger brother of Steve Stifler from the original movies and played by Tad Hilgenbrinck) is a huge hit on campus and a football playing party lover who has a hatred of band geeks so when he is caught "punking" them once again he is sent to carry out a penance by the guidance counsellor known ... American Pie - Band Camp is an excellent addition to the well renound series of American Pie movies. The film was originally released in October 2005 and has been well recieved in general by many. The films features Eugene Levy who really is excelletn yet again and Tad Hilgenbrink who is as funny as ever. The film is of course if the genre of comedy just like all of the films in the American Pie series. I really felt that whilst overall not as good as some others in the series, it is well worth getting because it is still very funny. You can get the film for under £5 from Amazon which is a great deal especially to add to your collection! The film is about how ... Read the complete review

Never seen an American Pie film before? Well you don't really need to for Band Camp as there is no continuation from the previous trilogy, although band camp is a phrase that has came through the ages for those followers of the franchise. If you missed them band camp is not just a place for the outcasts of the school, but is actually the place to get the best teen sex education you can. The 2005, fourth installment, of American Pie features new cast member Tad Hilgenbrink as Matt Stifler. Matthew is the younger brother of the Stifler featured in the earlier films, and like younger brothers seem to do, he idolizes the original Stifmeister. Afterall, meister is ...
