The first American Film was released nearly ten years ago in 1999, based around the joke of one of the stars amusing himself with a pie. The series has become infamous since and there were two follow-up films starring most of the original characters. This film is the sixth in the series of the franchise, although now only Eugene Levy remains from the original film. The film isn't even released into cinemas, these films are released straight for DVD, with the humour becoming ever more puerile. I'm sure not many people would watch this film without having an idea of what to expect, but the film leaves less and less to the imagination. There is now ... Read the complete review

Having been a huge fan of the first three American Pie films in the series I thought I'd give 'American Pie Presents: Beta House' a try when I noticed it available for rental. I was put off the series by the fairly awful direct-to-DVD 'American Pie Presents: Band Camp' film and decided I'd probably not watch any further films in the series. American Pie - Beta House really is a hilarious film that really fits in well with the entire American Pie series. Like the other films in the series it is a comedy and it really will make you laugh throughout the film! It features Christopher McDonald, Eugene Levy once again and John White amongst many other great actors. I found the film overall to be as exciting as ever and the acting quality was very good. The film was originally released in October 2007 and has had a really good reception. For anybody who has been a fan of any other of the Ameircan Pie films I really would recommend this film. The film is about a group of three consisting of Erik, Ryan ... Read the complete review

American Pie Presents: Beta House, is the latest but sadly not the greatest release in the American Pie saga. Based at the University of Michigan the film follows the notorious Beta House fraternity, ruled over by the celebrated and legendary Dwight Stifler, they are known far and wide for their wild parties and extreme behaviour. Erik Stifler is now a freshman at the university and he swears an oath to the Beta House fraternity. However tension and rivalry between Beta House and GEK (Geek) house results in the resurrection of "The Greek Games" a notorious university ritual that was banned decades ago. What follows is an extreme showdown between the two houses ... Read the complete review
