Good film (Angels and Demons (DVD))

Advantages: Good story, good cast, well directed

Disadvantages: none really other than maybe a bit loose in plot sometimes...

After seeing this film advertised through trailers and on billboards i was very interested in seeing it. due to circumstance i was not able to see it in the movies and so when the dvd was released i just had to buy it. i really enjoyed "The Da Vinci Code" and knowing it was written by the same author i was excited to see it.

the film itself i found to be very enjoyable though a little confusing in places. the intricacy of the storyline was lacking in places but was very good as a whole. i found the cinematography to be very good as well, the film was set in the vatican city and i thought that the camera and lighting work really made the film have a rich and classical look to it.

the only negative things i have to say about the film are that maybe i was tainted by watching "The Da Vinci Code" first and found the films to be quite similair in way off the protagonist taking on a female sidekick who excells in solving puzzles.. i also thought, as i have said before, that the storyline was maybe a little jumpy in places.

all in all a a good film and a good dvd, containing all you would expect from a dvd in terms of quality.

Summary: would recomend, worth watching
