This band made access to rap and hip-hop cool without being too commercial AND they survivedthe eighties. If you are prone to dancing like a loonie whenever you hear a funky tune, this album is a must. These guys are so likeable how can you not like their music? Ahhh bless 'em, they're getting on a bit now.......there's no sign of them lacking fresh tunes though.

This best-of is no average compilation. It contains everything you'd ever want to hear including singles, rarities, b-sides and deleted material. What attracts me to them is their wicked sense of humour, never taking themselves too seriously. From the classics to the most recent tunes, evey one stands out as being individual.

What made me laugh about this was the 'Coutry Mike' tunes, an alter-ego of one of the band members in a country and western style. If you can still get your hands on a limited edition copy, there's a great booklet explaining the where and why of each song (well worth a read, it's pretty funny).

Mixing rap and DJing with live instruments, these are talented guys....I hope they stick around for my amusement and silly dancing.
