Advantages: Hard hitting, big affect on you

Disadvantages: Very graphic at times

Never has a film made me think so much after it or had such an affect on me. Mel Gibson has again created an absolutely outstanding and stunning film!

Following the story of 'Jaguar Paw' and his tribe, you are shown the absolute horrors of what has happened in the past and what possibly continues to happen in civilisations outside of our modern cultures. It hits hard. Some of the characters are extremely menacing and you find yourself praying for 'Jaguar Paw' his wife, son, unborn baby and tribe as he attempts his journey home after being attacked and captured.

This film is certianly not for the faint hearted, as there are some very gruesome and vivid scenes, such as some memebrs of the tribe being sacrificed, very graphically. The 18 age rate is certainly there for a reason on this film!

Despite the horror of some scenes, it is an absolutely stunning film!
