Advantages: Great content, excitement throughout, something for everyone

Disadvantages: Slight inaccuracies, but then again it is Science Fiction!

Armageddon is a 1998 sci-fi movie starring Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thornton, Liv Tyler and Ben Affleck, and was directed by Michael Bay. To this day it remains in my opinion one of the best films ever to grace the movie screens. I say this because it's one of those films that has everything - action, drama, comedy, romance and so on. If you were to see this now you would definitely agree with me that the special effects aren't what many other films would offer, but considering it's been 12 years since the film was made, the special effects in this film are excellent and show how well it fits into the storyline of the film.

My personal opinion of the film is very positive indeed. The storyline is so well made out that you enjoy the film throughout and that the it flows from scene to scene very well. I first saw this film about ten years ago when it was on the TV for the first time, and I enjoyed it then. Being older, I enjoy it even more now when I watch it, and it's one of those films that you're likely to watch over and over again. It has something for everyone.

To add to how good the film was visually, it contains a great soundtrack with the likes of Aerosmith, ZZ Top, Journey and Bon Jovi. Being a classic rock fan, I like pretty much anything by these bands!

Summary: Well worth a buy. Bought it for £4 - bargain
