Advantages: interesting and entertaining storyline, great actors, intriguing characters

Disadvantages: Very sad ending

This is a sweet love story that will touch your heart. It was not the best love story that I have ever seen, but it is definitely worth watching at least once. It was a little weird at first, seeing someone as old as Richard Gere, trying to pick up someone as young as Winona Ryder, but the love that is shared between them will touch your heart.

The story is about Will Keane, played by Richard Gere, who is a man who loves his life as a bachelor. He is in his 50's, single, and has a boat load of money from the different restaurants that he owns. He enjoys seducing beautiful women and has trouble committing to a long term relationship. That is until he meets Charlotte Fielding, played by Winona Ryder. Charlotte is a beautiful young girl in her early twenties who Will is instantly smitten with. Will turns on the charm in order to woo this beautiful women and after several failed attempts at winning her affection Charlotte finally give into him and they embark on a fabulous love affair.

Will of course expected this little affair to be short lives, however, when he begins developing serious feelings for Charlotte, she reveals a horrible truth that will change his life forever. Charlotte is suffering from a life threatening disease and does not have long to live. This breaks will's heart, but he has fallen in love with Charlotte and he doesn't think that he can live without her, so instead of leaving her before getting in to deep, he continues their relationship on until the very end, enjoying and cherishing each moment that he gets to spend with the love of his life before she leaves him forever.

This is a touching story and it will definitely make you cry. It is a movie that should be seen at least once in your life, because it is truly heartfelt and will make you realize that you should cherish the people that you love in your life, because who knows what life will throw at you.
